Most pool companies outsource construction, which means dealing with multiple contractors and the inevitable time gaps between each one. This can make it hard to know who to contact when something comes up— whether because you want design changes or due to a hitch in your own schedule.

We Pride Ourselves on Process

The Darlington Way is to provide quality— not just in our product, but through our process as well. If you choose Darlington Designs as your pool construction partner, your experience will look something like this: 

• • Speak with a Designer
    When you contact Darlington Designs, you will speak with a Designer in order to educate you on our unique design process and determine if you’d like to proceed with a Design Agreement. Once you engage with Darlington, then the Designer will arrange to meet with you about your unique vision for your outdoor space and develop a preliminary budget. This will lay the foundation to successfully develop a complete design that works for both your home and your family.
  • Swimming Pool Construction
    Your project will have an assigned Project Manager, Production Manager, foreman, and crew: 
    • Your Designer will be your principal point of contact about the work being carried out. He or she coordinates the project from beginning to end and makes routine visits to ensure that the goals of your design agreement are being met. The Designer can be contacted when you have questions or want to request changes to the project.
    • A Construction Coordinator will handle the logistics of ordering materials, making deliveries, and coordinating crew access. Pool construction projects may require extensive staging which involves a larger area of the property. Any special access needs will be communicated with you ahead of time. The Construction Coordinator is your point of contact for the operational and logistical aspects of the project. 
    • An experienced foreman will be onsite daily to oversee the pool construction workflow. Crews work Monday through Friday, from 7:30 to 5:30 pm. This schedule allows us to deliver the best product in the most timely fashion.  Because Darlington Designs manages the entire project lifecycle, we are able to minimize dead time and maximize efficiency throughout the construction process. 
  • Your “Cannonball” 
    The opening of your pool is a milestone, the start of many special moments together with loved ones. At Darlington Designs, we like to call this turning point “The Family Cannonball.” You might not go for a literal cannonball, though many do! We help you commemorate the moment of your pool opening with professional photography and a mini celebration!
